Advantages of Blogger

Blogger Is Free and Easy To use: Blogger Is free and really easy to use, You can make a blog on blogger very easily, You don't have to setup a host like in wordpress case.

Advantage of Google: One of the best advantage of blogger is that, it is provided by Google, You all know what is google. As the Blogger is provided by Google, Blogger sites are hosted on Google's servers. You will not face any down time.

Template Customization: There are a lot of Blogger Templates both ( Free and Premium ) for blogger. If you know HTML/CSS You can customize them according to your need easily.

Security: Blogger is provided by google, And that's why it's security is also the best! You don't need to think too much about your blog's security, because if your blog is hosted on blogger, then the chances of it of getting hacked is too low (You can also say impossible)!

Disadvantages Of Blogger

Hosting: The one major disadvantage of Blogger is that, they are not your property! They are hosted on Google's servers and if you do anything wrong ( which is against Google's Policy ), They will delete/ban your blog.

Advantages Of WORDPRESS.COM

Easy To use: Like blogger, Wordpress is also easy to use and also easy to set up.

Free Hosting: Wordpress.com Is hosted by automatic, you don't need to pay for hosting charges, and not even domain charges, but they only provide you a limited space of 3GB.

But if you want Simple .com domain you can purchase that.

Disadvantages Of WORDPRESS.COM

You cannot add extra features using plugins because no option for themes and plugins.

No Advertisement: Wordpress.com Will show their own advertisement on your site. AdSense,Yahoo,Chitika, TextLinkAds, and other third-party advertising are not allowed here at WordPress.com.

Advantages Of Self Hosted WORDPRESS (WORDPRESS.ORG)

This is the self-hosted version of Wordpress and it gives you  freedom to choose your own domain name, the hosting company which you like and install any theme or plugin to make your blog look beautiful.

Control On Your Site: Self Hosted wordpress gives you full control on your site.

Disadvantages Of Self Hosted WORDPRESS (WORDPRESS.ORG)

Hosting Charges: The disadvantage of this is that you have to buy a hosting account ( different hosting companies have different prices, so it's upto you that which you will choose ).

Security: The other disadvantage of self hosted wordpress is it's security. Blogs on Blogger are impossible to hack because they are hosted on Google's server and you don't need to care about it's security, and if you choose self hosted wordpress, then it's upto to take care of it. Because hackers every day found new and new vulnerabilities in wordpress plugins.

What We Think: Well It's really difficult to choose any platform. But i will suggest you to choose ( Blogger or Self Hosted Wordpress ) Instead Of Wordpress.COM. Everyone has his own thinking. If you like wordpress, you can go for it, and if you like blogger you can go for it.
